- All classes will start as scheduled. Please be prompt.
- Be ready to train by the designated class time; if you must arrive late or leave early, do so quietly so as not to interrupt others’ training.
- All students will pay respects before entering the training area. Instructors will be addressed according to rank/title unless otherwise directed.
- All students must wear the school uniform when attending class. This consists of the school shirt/sweatshirt and shorts or sweatpants of your choosing, and non-marking athletic shoes/wrestling shoes—no street shoes!
- All training bags, coats and personal belongings must be off the mats.
- Treat everyone with respect: be respectful and courteous to instructors and other students. Remember, you are training with the other students at Apex, not against them.
- No horseplay, inappropriate behavior or foul language will be permitted. Free sparring may only occur with instructor supervision.
- All students are required to wear appropriate safety gear when directed by your instructor.
- Know your limits; train hard, but do not hurt yourself so that you cannot train tomorrow. If you have ANY injuries, illnesses or disabilities that may affect your training tell your instructor.
- Help keep the training area clean and organized. Return all training gear to the proper storage area when finished.
- Keep nails trimmed and practice good hygiene, for yourself and others.
- Smoking is not allowed inside or on school premises.
- The more you put into your training, the more you will get out of it.
